Sara A. Gebremeskel is doing her PhD thesis titled “Form Corridors to Centers: a case of Mekelle City streets”, an approach to make streets for people while promoting walking and cycling at IUAV School of Architecture, City and Design at University of Venezia Italy. She is also a Lecturer in the School of Architecture and Urban planning, EiTM-Mekelle University. Mekelle, Ethiopia. She is engaged in international research “CAMA (Collaboration for Active Mobility in Africa)”, and also in the forum of Tigray Infrastructure. She is interested in research works related to sustainable city developments focused on city liveability, placemaking, public space studies, sustainable mobility and circular economy
