Dr Paulo Anciaes is a researcher at the intersection of mobility, health, and society. His interests include walking, equity, accessibility, liveability, travel behaviour, and social, environmental, health, and wellbeing impacts of transport. His work has used a range of approaches (stated and revealed preference methods, statistical modelling, economic valuation and appraisal, spatial analysis, option generation, co-creation). His research has been intersectoral, international, and interdisciplinary, with a policy focus and engagement with stakeholders. Dr. Paulo is in the Board of Trustees of the Transport and Health Science Group and the Board of Directors of the International Professional Association for Transport and Health.
