Paschalin Basil is a development researcher and a PhD student at the Institute for Development Studies-University of Nairobi. She holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Nairobi. She is a resource person for VREF MAC NextGen Community. She supports Walk21 Foundation with policy research and project delivery. A member of the Kenya Transport Researchers’ Network (KTRN), the African Network for Walking and Cycling (ANWAC) and also a member of the Urban Leaders Global Program by Women in Motion. She has a passion for the multidimensional field of development and has been involved in different research related activities within and outside the University of Nairobi. Her current research interests are in public transport and specifically on walking as a mode of transport.
