Ms Rita is an urban and transport planner with skills and knowledge in urban planning, sustainable mobility, and policy. She lectures at the Department of Spatial Planning and Urban Design at the Technical University of Kenya and is the Network Coordinator for the African Network for Walking and Cycling, which advocates and supports African cities to develop walking and cycling policies and infrastructure. She holds an MSc. Infrastructure Planning from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and a Bachelor’s degree in Planning from the University of Nairobi.
