Bert Manieson is an early-career researcher with a background in Economics and Geography. He is currently serving as a graduate research intern at the Department of Urban Roads in Cape Coast, Ghana. His research interests focus on active mobility, children’s mobility, infrastructure planning, and the built environment. His current thesis research is focused on the “Effect of Uban Infrastructural Design and Travel Safety Among Active School Children in Kumasi, Ghana”. He is a passionate advocate for promoting safe school neighbourhoods in developing countries.
